In 2019, Felton and Joy identified a need in their community for dependable transportation for individuals with different mobility challenges, particularly those who require wheelchair or stretcher transportation. After seeing seniors and individuals with disabilities struggle to find reliable transportation, they founded Joyful Transit NEMT to help fill that need while making a meaningful difference in the community.
Today, Felton and Joy continue that mission by providing safe, punctual, compassionate, and dependable transportation, ensuring every passenger is treated with patience, dignity, and respect throughout their journey.
